No-Registration File Transfers: Accounts and Email Checks Compared

When choosing a no-registration transfer, ask three separate questions: do you need an account, must you verify an email address, and what will the recipient have to do? These are separate providers' allowances: HexaTransfer offers 50 GiB and a choice of 1–30 days, with 14 days by default. Choose the period in whole days using the selector before uploading; expiry runs from transfer creation.
Choose by the steps you can accept
No email entry in the tool: HexaTransfer generates a link for you to share. Options include a password and a download limit. Keep the full link: there is no personal dashboard to retrieve it from.
Another account-free option: SwissTransfer advertises 50 GB. Its official page specifies email verification for the first send from a new device. Choosing link delivery therefore does not mean email is always optional. For the account-free 30-day option, the FAQ specifies an initial 15 days, with an extension offered by email on day 12 and three days to accept it.

Check the download before choosing
On HexaTransfer, a file above 512 MiB requires direct-to-disk saving through File System Access. Without it, the browser also blocks a combined ZIP whose estimated size exceeds 512 MiB. Try the receiving device first; an account-free flow does not guarantee support for large downloads.
For a large delivery, also check free space, the ability to open the received format and the download deadline. Keep the upload tab open until the final link appears: HexaTransfer cannot resume after the tab closes. The 10 GB transfer guide covers practical checks.
Understand privacy without an account
HexaTransfer encrypts files and their metadata before upload; the service does not receive the key after #. Share the complete link only with the intended recipients and send any password separately. Having no account does not eliminate processing of technical data, including the upload IP address.
Infomaniak documents transit and at-rest encryption for SwissTransfer, with LUKS and AES 256-bit storage encryption. This does not establish a system in which only the recipient holds a decryption key. Your confidentiality requirements matter alongside the registration form.
